When I heard the premise for X-men legacy I was dubious, do we really need a series go over old ground? I asked myself.Well despite my thinking the answer was no, writer Mike Carey clearly knows better. Legacy doesn't just retread old ground it is still telling a new story but it is showing Charles Xaviers view on past events and how he feels about actions he has taken for the "greater good" where the story succeeds is that it addresses the differences changing writers has made on the characters by having characters challenge his past actions and Xavier either explaining himself or putting a spin on it. The art is solid throughout.
