An enjoyable storyline. In this book Elizabeth only had Darcy's natural appearance of distaste and his insult to overcome as Bingley had only just gone and she realised that Wickham was not as he seemed. However Darcy did himself no favours most of the time. No spoilers but obviously things between the two eventually improve. All in all I would definitely recommend this book.

Great read. Elizabeth keeps her spirit throughout and I enjoyed her relationship with both Darcy and Gorgie. I couldn't put it down

Loved the storyline, very entertaining and much better written than other retellings. Not sure Lizzy and her cousin would have walked from Gracechurch Street to Hyde Park without some unsavory incident befalling them going through the city's stews and rookeries, plus the time it would have taken to get there and back, but there you are. Suspend belief on some more fanciful aspects and enjoy it!
