Angels do not have wings. But they do have fangs and some curse like sailors. The Guardians, a once Mortal group of warriors, exist to hunt the Shadow Demons in our forgotten world. Their bloodline allows them at the time of their death to rise and fight in the war that rages all around, unseen by human eyes. For over a thousand years, Keltor, one of the oldest warriors, has fought after losing everything he loved at the hands of a Demon. He has taken no comfort except in his vengeance against the beings that stole his heart and life. Then one day, it begins to pound in his chest again when he sees her, the Keeper.Elizabeth is a human that suddenly begins to see things that shouldn’t exist. The story that she couldn’t write is now right in front of her eyes, literally. As is a breathtakingly gorgeous, leather clad warrior with a heavy brogue that is completely off limits per the laws of the new world she is thrust into. She is a Keeper, a balance between the light and dark who has within her the power to tilt the scales one way or another in this war with her choices. Somehow she made it thirty years in this world hidden from both sides. An epic struggle for her soul begins as she learns who she is and tries to accept that it’s the Keeper’s pull attracting her to Keltor, nothing more.A warrior that lost his heart long ago, a woman that has never really known her own. Each Guardian only gets one Mate and when they are found, there is nothing in the Seven Hells or the Heavens that could keep them apart. Is it the magic of the Keeper’s soul, or is she His?

Ok I will start by saying I am a huge fan of paranormal romance and also urban but this book is amazing! It's right up there with the likes of jr ward and Alexandra ivy and gives the reader a whole new world of characters to fall in love with. Its about a secret society of guardians attempting to save mankind from demons even if it means sacrificing themselves and in this story we meet the heartbreaking Keltor. His troubled past has prevented him from loving and in many ways from truly living. His mission is to protect Liz a human woman whose very existence could change the balance between good and evil. The attraction between them is instant and off the charts! Passion with a capital P! Fighting to survive whilst fighting their attraction will lead them both to an exciting and soul wrenching decision.I loved this book! Plenty of pages so great value and a storyline that has so far to go. Interesting characters flesh it out and already I am trying to guess which guardian will get his/her happy ever after. An evil villain that has this reader intrigued and writing that just flows . Well done Ms Sage my first book by you but most definitely not my last. This is most definitely a 5 star book

I received a free copy of this book for an honest reviewWell I loved it! I found Liz quite refreshing, there seems to be a trend in paranormal romances that the heroine needs to be drop dead gorgeous, in her early twenties amd a virgin which Liz is not. The mouth on her made me chuckle a few times especially the way she mocked Wolff during their first encounter. Keltor I would say is more of your typical male lead he is strong and sexy and I love his vulnerable side he has gone through so much and his dedication to his family is amazing (he better find that whiteling soon)The plot kept me hooked I was slightly reminded of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series which to me is never a bad thing and I can't wait to read the next one.Oh and Liya is possibly one of my fave book characters ever she is amazing and I hope I get to read about her and Dante next

'I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review'Keltor is an immortal guardian. His job is to protect humans from Demons. He is something like an angel but not quite. Ever since his family was killed along with him and he was brought back as an immortal he has hated his life and cursed the Pure one. He has not had a lover since his wife's death. Then he met Liz. She is a keeper that no one found until recently which is unheard of. Keepers are always found as children and trained to protect themselves from demons along with learning what powers they have and there has never been a female keeper. As much as he tries to he cannot resist her. He knows that it is more then her keeper allure. She is his mate. Now they just have to find a way to be together as keepers and guardian's are not supposed to be together.Liz is fairly happy with her life. She owns her own home, and she's an author. What more could she want besides a great guy? That aspect of her life has never worked out. She always picks the wrong guys. Then one day she is being attacked by demons and being abducted by some majorly hot guys. They explain to her what she is and what they are and that she is to go for training. Liz and Keltor can't fight the pull. It's the pull of a mate.My Opinion:This is the first book that I have read from this author and I LOVED it! I think that I'm a little bit in love with Keltor! He has the whole brooding hot guy thing going on and Liz is the one to save him. It is a well thought of idea and greatly put together and written. I definitely recommend reading!'Read and Reviewed by LSK Sweetheart Reviews'

What a brilliant story! I loved the world that Jennifer Sage created in this book, it's so rich and imaginative and a sheer testament to her skill as a writer. I adored the characters, particularly Keltor, for obvious reasons ;) The way the character's histories were interwoven and the relationships between them had me tearing through this book. And the hint of there being more to other characters' stories has left me desperately wanting more! I've given this book 5 stars and it's a truly well earned and well deserved 5 stars. I'm looking forward to reading more of Jennifer Sage's work and I'm eagerly anticipating a follow up to this book in particular.

Keltor (Guardian Archives, #1) by Jennifer SageKeltor, a Guardian of the light lives in the shadows. Liz finds she has the power to destroy the light or dark, but has no clue how to use these powers. The two come together, and soon Keltor is falling for (her) knowing they could never be together. But soon a choice must be made, will the right one prevail?A detailed fantasy story that has a good story line, easy to follow and some interesting characters. I did like Liz and Keltor. I was intrigued and could not put it down. Fantasy lovers should enjoy this read.

This was my first Jennifer Sage book and it won't be my last......Keltor, Mmmmmm! I totally fell in lust with this Guardian, my imagination ran riot over his Rough, sexy Irish brogue and I was captivated by his "courtship" of Elizabeth.....I want a Guardian of my own!
